About

Chesapeake Feline Association (CFA) was formed and approved as a 501(c)3 organization on October 30, 2009.  CFA is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no kill feline rescue.

CFA was originally founded by a group of women who were trapping in public areas such as shopping centers, public parks, schools, and community neighborhoods.  These women were working independently and decided to form a Trap-Neuter-Return organization.  Their goal was to reduce the unchecked breeding of free roaming cats, thereby addressing the over population crisis in Cecil County, Harford County and surrounding counties in Maryland.

CFA has grown substantially over the last 16 years.  We are dedicated to the rescue, care, and adoption of homeless felines in Cecil County, Maryland. Our goal is to find loving forever homes for adoptable animals placed in our care.
