Tilly first came through CFA in May of 2011 as part of TNR project in the Timberbrook neighborhood in North East, MD. It was noted that she was very friendly and the person that brought Tilly in said they would keep her as an outside cat and provide her with food and any care she might need in the future. Tilly was brought back to CFA in November 2013 by a concerned member of the Timberbrook community and stated the people that were feeding Tilly had moved and no one was providing for this very friendly girl. Tilly tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and CFA made the decision not to release her back out into the Timberbrook community. Tilly is a great girl and very friendly but shy when she first meets you. Tilly has been in foster care with other cats but is not overly friendly towards other cats but she does not fight with them just a little hissing. Please see the attached brochure from Cornell for more information about FIV. Tilly is currently healthy with no known medical issues other than the FIV but CFA will cover the cost of any medical conditions associated with FIV for the first 6 months after she is adopted provided the adopter use All Paws Animal Wellness Clinic.
